Laser Hair Reduction

The LightSheer® Diode Laser is a state-of-the-art system used to reduce unwanted hair faster and with less discomfort than most methods. Both small and large areas of unwanted hair are treated effectively. The most common areas we treat are the upper lip, chin, legs, bikini lines and backs.

Multiple treatments will be necessary. The hairs in an active growth phase are most affected by the laser. Because all hairs are not in the stage at the same time, more than one treatment will be necessary for the most effective result.

While the laser treatment does produce some discomfort, topical anesthesia may be used. The laser pulses for a fraction of a second, long enough to heat up the hair follicle and impede its ability to re-grow. The special cooling hand-piece protects and cools the upper layer of skin before, during and after each pulse.
